CHICAGO — Marist High School will host a variety of sports and activity camps this summer for sixth- through eighth-grade students beginning Sept. 11 through Nov. 11.

Boys’ camps include baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, soccer, and volleyball. Girls’ camps will focus on basketball, soccer, softball, and volleyball. Camps will focus on skill improvement through drills and exercises. Most camps run one evening per week for several weeks.

Pre-registration is required, as Marist must limit each session's participants. No walk-ins will be allowed for this reason. Prices vary depending on the camp. Payment is due on first day of camp and will be collected via cash or check only.

In accordance with the Illinois State Board of Education sports guidelines, the camps are designed around skill development, and competition in the medium and high-risk category sports will not occur. Participants must arrive at campus with a mask on and adhere to protocols the coaches implement. Coaches will screen each camper with questions about COVID-19 symptoms and take his or her temperature with a no-touch thermometer. Campers should bring their own water.
