Multitaskers, Beverly Arts Alliance at Nicky's of Beverly Tonight

Art, music, food, beverage locally at 105th and Western on a perfect spring night

Beverly Area Arts Alliance and Nicky’s of Beverly present tonight artist Won Kim, a passionate man of many skills presenting the official opening of: “Multitaskers” featuring artists "from all walks of life" beginning at 5 p.m. and running until 9 p.m.

This is the second in Beverly Area Arts Alliance's series of programs through September at a pop-up space at 105th and Western.

"Multitaskers" is on display tonight and during the next two Friday evenings from 6 until 9 p.m. (May 21 & 28) at Nicky’s, 10500 S. Western Avenue, an idyllic setting on Chicago spring evening. Tonight's opening features Kim's "fave" DJ John Simmons.

The exhibit is part of Alliance Contemporary, a Beverly Area Arts Alliance gallery at Nicky’s that continues through September.

Kim will sell his works alongside Brian Morris, Lisa Gray, Anne Heisler, Katherine McCarthy, Raul Deleon and Sammy Faze. Each artist comes from a different facet of life, and all share the same passion for art.

Kim is also a chef at Kimski, a Korean-Polish restaurant he operates in the Bridgeport neighborhood; Kim's artistic creations are on display around Chicago.

Kim was drawn into The Alliance through Sal Campbell, a co-founder of the non-profit.

The Beverly Area Arts Alliance is hosting a series of programs through September at a pop-up space at 105th and Western. Contemporary will also host a blues festival and art show at Nicky’s called “Let’s Get Funky” on June 12.

An exhibit titled “Pushing Boundaries” will debut on July 17.
