Saint Xavier University raised more than $112,000 at its 22nd Annual Golf Classic on Tuesday, August 7 at Silver Lake Country Club in Orland Park. Since its inception, SXU’s annual Golf Classic has raised over 1.4 million dollars.

A record-setting number of University faculty and staff joined the golfers in the afternoon for a reception and dinner, which featured Chicago’s own Dwayne Kennedy who entertained the crowd with his special brand of comedy and acted as emcee.

Co-chairs George Ferrell and Bill Callaghan of Henry Bros. Co. marked their 22nd year as presenting sponsors of this event. Other major sponsors for this year’s event included: Axion RMS, Ltd.; Huntington Bank; Ozinga Brothers, Inc.; Dynamic Building Restoration, Inc.; Linear Electric, Inc.; Newman Architecture; and Bear Cartage & Intermodal, Inc.
