Quilter's Trunk To Be Featured In National Magazine: Bev Biz Beat
The Beverly neighborhood quilt shop is one of only 10 nationally that will be featured in the next issue of Quilt Sampler magazine.

CHICAGO (BEVERLY) — The Quilter's Trunk, a Beverly neighborhood quilting store near the corner of 104th and Western, will be highlighted on the national stage as one of just 10 quilt shops across the United States to be featured in the spring/summer issue of Quilt Sampler magazine. The magazine is a division of Better Homes & Gardens.
"We are very excited," Lisa Wilberding, co-founder of The Quilter's Trunk, said. "Quilters love to travel and this will help increase foot traffic to our wonderful neighborhood during the travel season for the next few years."
Nearly 3,000 quilt shops were eligible to be featured this year, Quilt Sampler said in a news release.

To be considered, The Quilter's Trunk had to submit a detailed application on their history, business promotions, charitable work, teaching schedules and design philosophies. Then, a panel of quilt experts picked the top 10 to be featured in the magazine that comes out twice a year.
Wilberding said the magazine has already held a day-long photo shoot at the store. The store also created a new quilt to go with the multi-page profile article that will be published about them.
