Ridge Paranormal Happenings #6: Special event for Halloween!!

We're having a special event at the Givins Beverly Castle on Friday, October 25, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. "Folklore and Phantoms" will explore some sites in the local Ridge communities where people have reported having paranormal experiences. We will take a good look at the Castle ghost stories and the experiences that people have actually reported there - which are plenty!

The event costs $15 per person and that includes great refreshments - wine, beer and plenty of delicious appetizers. All of the proceeds go to the Castle restoration fund. This Beverly landmark was built in 1886-87 and is showing the effects of age - as a start, the turrets are in need of repair.

There will also be free tarot card and astrology readings. The last hour will be an open mic for people to share their own stories.

The Castle is located at the corner of 103rd Street and Longwood Drive. You can't miss it - it's Chicago's only Castle.
