'Second City' Show Coming To Beverly Arts Center

The renowned Chicago comedy company will bring their holiday show "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly Sweater" to the neighborhood on Dec. 28.

CHICAGO — The Second City will bring its holiday show to Beverly this winter. A performance of "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly Sweater" is set for Dec. 28 at 8 p.m. at the Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St.

The performance will "roast the chestnuts out of all the things we lovingly loathe about the season," according to a news release from the Beverly Arts Center.

The Second City is celebrating 60 years of producing cutting-edge satirical revues and launching the careers of generation after generation of comedy’s best and brightest, the release states.

Among the most famous Second City alums are Dan Akyroid, Bill Murray and Stephen Colbert. The late John Belushi and Chris Farley were also famous alums.
