Services Set For Klees Golf Shop Owner Mary Rita Klees
Mary Rita Klees died on the 4th of July at age 97. A visitation and mass will be held Saturday at St. Cajetan.

CHICAGO — The matriarch of the neighborhood staple Klees Golf Shop, which still does business on Western Avenue in the heart of Beverly, has died. Mary Rita Klees passed away peacefully at her home at Peace Village in Palos Park on July 4, her obituary that's posted on the Donnellan Funeral Home website states. She was married to the late John Klees, owner of the golf shop, for 56 years.
The obituary also says she was a nurse, lived on Bell Avenue in Morgan Park for more than 40 years and was an active member of St. Cajetan Church.
A visitation is set for Saturday, Aug. 31 at St. Cajetan from 11 a.m. until noon, when a mass in her memory will begin.
