'Soon': Wonderburger Reopening Is Near
One of Mike Grant's employees at La Fiesta says the re-opening of Grant's Wonderburger could come this month.

CHICAGO — After nearly a year of hype, the return of Grant's Wonderburger to Mount Greenwood is near. The longtime neighborhood treasure at 110th and Kedzie could open at its new spot on 111th and Christiana next to La Fiesta Restaurant this month.
Wonderburger Owner Mike Grant announced plans to bring back the neighborhood favorite last year in a Beverly Review article. An employee of his at La Fiesta this week (Grant also owns La Fiesta) told Patch this week that everything is pretty much ready to go at Wonderburger and that the staff is just waiting on final approvals from the city of Chicago to open.
"Soon," she said.

The new Wonderburger will be accessible from 111th Street via the same parking lot as La Fiesta. A sign sporting the restaurant's new logo is already visible from 111th, and the word "Wonderburger" already painted above the entrance.
The employee said to check the business' Facebook page in the coming days for word on an official opening date.
