South Side Pizza Poll 2020 Bracket Revealed Here

CHICAGO, IL — The 2020 South Side Pizza Poll bracket has been revealed. It includes 32 pizzerias total, 16 in the city of Chicago and 16 in the near south suburbs, and can be found below.

This year's pizza bracket showdown expanded from 16 to 32 as we included a number of suburbs and city neighborhoods to the eligibility list. In consideration were any restaurant that serves pizza on the South Side of Chicago or neighboring and nearby suburbs.

To determine the seeds and which pizza places would be included, Patch put out a callout for nominations in September. Nearly 1,000 votes were made, and seeds were decided based directly on the number of tallies the restaurant received in the callout.
