St. Rita Athletic Director Named Basketball Coach
Roshawn Russell will lead the Mustangs on the hardwood.

CHICAGO - St. Rita High School has a new basketball coach. It's Roshawn Russell, the school's athletic director. Russell replaces Gary DeCesare, who led the Mustangs to a 182-110 overall record in his 10 years at the helm of the program.
"He took our basketball program to new heights," Russell said of DeCesare. "We wouldn't be where we are today without him."
Russell will keep his role as athletic director. His basketball coaching experience includes a prior role as the assistant coach at Fontbonne University in St. Louis. He played college basketball at North Park University.
