CHICAGO (BEVERLY) — Two Mile Coffee Bar, the coffee shop open inside the 95th Street Metra station in Beverly will soon open a second location in the neighborhood. This one will be four blocks away right next to the 99th Street Metra station in the spot that was most recently home to B-Sides Coffee + Tea.

Two Mile announced the new location via a Facebook Live video Saturday morning, one they teased several times on Facebook and Instagram in the days leading up to the announcement.

"This is a new, separate location for everyone to enjoy," owner Nate Hollister said in the video.

The second location opening will come roughly a year after Two Mile Coffee Bar was introduced to the neighborhood over Easter weekend in 2019.

Hollister and his wife Sonia partnered with Gretta and Patrick Dertinger in opening the shop with the help of a Kickstarter campaign that raised more than $11,000 to jump start the project.

B-Sides closed for good at the end of January about a year after their owners, the O'Malley family, moved to Indianapolis for a work opportunity.

Hollister praised B-Sides and their popularity as part of the 99th Street business corridor that he now looks forward to being a part of.

"We can't wait to use the foundation they already built there," he said. "We were there every Saturday. It means a lot to us to have a second location at that location."

Hollister expects the second Two Mile to open sometime in early April.
