14th District CAPS National Night Out To Be Held In Bucktown
The event will "send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back," police said.
CHICAGO, IL — Police officers, residents and community members will be gathering in Bucktown Tuesday, Aug. 7, for the 14th police district's National Night Out. The 14th District includes Logan Square, Bucktown, Wicker Park, Humboldt Park and Avondale. The event will be held to promote involvement in crime prevention initiatives and build partnerships between police and the community.
People of all ages are invited to attend. The event will include music, face painting, pie the police, a jump house, senior bingo, free hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and raffles.

Location: Holstein Park, 2200 N. Oakley
Time: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
