4EG's Lollapalooza Throwback Thursday Celebrations
Throwback Thursday Lollapalooza Parties on August 3rd at all 4EG Bars and Restaurants.
Trying to get in the Lollapalooza mood? Four Entertainment Group (4EG) invites Chicagoans to join in as they host a Throwback Thursday Lollapalooza celebration at aliveOne, Easy Bar, Estelle's, Remedy, and The Owl. All locations will feature music from a different year of Lollapalooza on Thursday, August 3 with food and drink specials.
aliveOne, the classic Lincoln Park bar, is throwing it back to 2006 Lollapalooza and will feature music from 8 p.m. to close with bands like, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kanye, Death Cab, The Raconteurs, Flaming Lips, Ween, Queens of the Stone Age, Shins, and Wilco. While jamming to tunes, enjoy a half-off everything happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., $4 Lagunitas Drafts and $5 Tito's cocktails.
Easy Bar, located in Wicker Park, is choosing to rock out to 2010 Lollapalooza. Featured bands include: Soundgarden, Lady Gaga, The Strokes, Cut Copy, Eryka Badu, Edward Sharpe, Green Day, Arcade Fire, Phoenix, MGMT, and Black Keys from 5 p.m. to close. Enjoy drink specials all night long like, $4 Malort shots, $4 Fernet shots, $4 Select drafts, $5 Ketel One cocktails, and a half-off everything happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Estelle's, also located in Wicker Park, is throwing it way back to 1995 Lollapalooza and will play music from 5 p.m. to close from bands like, Sonic Youth, Hole, Cypress Hill, Pavement, Sinead O'Connor, Beck, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Coolio, and Yo La Tengo. Food specials include $5 quesadillas, $4 featured cocktails, $5 Tito's cocktails, and a half-off everything happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Remedy, the Bucktown bar, will be rocking out to Lollapalooza from 2012. Featured bands will play from 4 p.m. to close and include, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Keys, Jack White, Florence & the Machine, The Shins, Justice, Passion Pit, The Weekend, M83, Frank Ocean, Childish Gambino, Santigold, and Alabama Shakes. Specials include a half-off everything happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and a $8 Miller Lite High Life bottle and Evan Williams shot.

The Owl, which you'll find in Logan Square, is throwing it back to 1994 Lollapalooza with featured bands like, Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys, George Clinton and P-Funk All-Stars, Breeders, and Tribe Called Quest from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. There is an Early Bird Special of half-off beers and cocktails from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and a $4 Sweetwater Goin' Coastal special all night long.
