Artisan Market NOSH Extends Hours, Announces List of Vendors

The NOSH at Wicker Park may have kicked off last weekend for the first time, but organizers are already making adjustments so residents can nosh even more.

The artisan farmers market runs every Saturday, now from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the A.N. Pritzker School playground on the corner of Damen and Evergreen avenues.

The folks behind The NOSH say those attending this Saturday might notice just a few minor changes from last weekend’s debut event.

“After last week’s delicious debut, we are making some minor adjustments to improve everyone’s noshing experience, including our own,” organizers said in a statement. “We will be providing more shady eating areas via canopied tents and an earlier start time: 10 a.m., instead of 11 a.m. 

"In keeping with last week, we will also feature a live band to entertain the snacking crowds," they continued. "This week we are featuring a lively, local bluegrass band!”

Featuring more than 30 artisan food vendors, The NOSH has both pre-prepared dishes and locally packaged goods. A full list wasn’t initially available, but now on the second weekend of the event, details behind who’s providing the “nosh” are in:

• Zayna’s Cuffins
• Dia De Los Tamales
• Bot Bakery

And in the coming weeks, even more vendors will join the list. They include: Pecking Order, Wicker Park’s Oiistar, Johnny Casserole, Chicago Cupcakes and Jerk, Chicago’s Modern Jamaican Grill.

The Nosh at Wicker Park will run every Saturday through October.
