Bonci Pizzeria Opens In Wicker Park
The pizzeria has opened in the former DOX Quality Greek restaurant building.
CHICAGO, IL — Bonci pizzeria now has two locations outside of Italy: the West Loop and now Wicker Park. The pizzeria opened its doors in Wicker Park over the weekend at 1566 N. Damen Avenue. Bonci is known for its Roman-style, square pizza slices with creative toppings like pumpkin/sausage/provolone and potato/mozzarella.
"Happy Monday from our new location in Wicker Park," Bonci posted on its Facebook page. "Who's ready to start the week with our Carbonara Suppli? We know we are!"
Famous pizza maker Gabriele Bonci opened his first location outside of Italy in the West Loop at 161 N Sangamon Street. The pizzeria has been very popular, and visitors often have to eat while standing. Fortunately, the new Wicker Park location has seats and tables.

Bonci is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight Friday/Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
