Park 567 received a makeover complete with new seating, a grassy area and a winding path.

Anyone in the mood for a fall picnic is in luck: Bucktown’s Park 567 is now open after an extensive makeover.
Ald. Scott Waguespack (32nd) announced Friday the park received a few key upgrades including limestone boulders for seating and tables, a central grassy area and a winding path linking to the upcoming Bloomingdale Trail project.
“The Trust for Public Land raised the funds to create Park 567, with generous support from MetLife Foundation and The Stenning on Lake Geneva Conservancy Society, and managed the park’s design and development in partnership with the Chicago Park District,” Waguespack wrote on his website.
