Bucktown Plans First Annual Block Party Down Damen
It's the organization's first year doing the event, and they've just pegged a date and some of the area businesses participating.
A new block party is hitting the scene in Bucktown this year, and organizers have just pegged the date and time local businesses will be entertaining local residents.
The North Bucktown District says they plan to host their inaugural summer shopping and dining block party on July 24 from 6-8 p.m., Chicago Racked writes. Multiple boutiques, restaurants and salons down Damen Avenue between Armitage and Webster are said to be participating.
Each business is slated to offer up special promotions as neighbors pop in and out of the area shops. Some of the area storefronts participating include Red Door, The Bristol and Remarked Salon.
