Bucktown Store Named One Of Best Bike Shops In Country
Element Multisport has been named among the top bike shops in the United States.
CHICAGO — Element Multisport in Bucktown has made it onto the America's Best Bike Shops list, compiled by the National Bicycle Dealers Association. The list only includes independent bike shops with parts, accessories and a service department.
Widely considered one of the city's top shops for triathletes, Element Multisport at 2211 N Elston Ave. also sells products for swimmers and runners.
Other Chicago winners include Roscoe Village Bikes and Kozy's Cyclery, which has locations in Avondale, Lake View, River North and Bronzeville.

To be considered for the contest, a store representative (owner or manager) must apply by filling out a detailed application, as well as agreeing to be mystery shopped by an outside company. Applicants are awarded points based on the application and shopping results, with only the highest performers being selected, the National Bicycle Dealers Association said.
