Business Burglaries Reported In Lincoln Park, Bucktown

Burglars are targeting North Side convenience stores during the early morning hours, police said.

CHICAGO — A group of men robbed three stores Sunday in Bucktown and Lincoln Park, police said. In each strong-arm robbery, offenders dressed in all-black clothing forced a clerk to open the cash register while a third suspect stood guard by the store's front door, according to police.

The offenders then took off after taking products and money from the register, police said. The suspects did not appear to be armed.

  • at about 5:20 a.m. in the 2600 block of North Clark Street;
  • at about 5:28 a.m. in the 1300 block of West Fullerton Avenue;
  • at about 5:45 a.m. in the 2000 block of North Damen Avenue.
