BuzzFeed Calls Quigley Most ‘YOLO’ Congressman
The Bucktown and Wicker Park representative's Facebook antics caught the attention of the writers at Buzz Feed, voting him the most YOLO congressman. "You Only Legislate Once"
U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (IL-05) may be on Patch for his work in Washington D.C., his LGBT-activism and his love for the Chicago Blackhawks, but to the writers at BuzzFeed, the North Side congressman is the most YOLO.
The popular news and entertainment website crowned Quigley based on Facebook photos of him in some pretty unique scenarios. Usually standing for “You Only Live Once,” the BuzzFeed crew altered the acronym to mean, “You Only Legislate Once.”
The article is posted on the website as a list of pictures accompanied by the reasons why Quigley earned the title. They include ones like:

“He is clearly the most YOLO congressman on Facebook,” Benny Johnson with BuzzFeed writes. “Look at him headbutt this beluga whale.”
