Catalytic Converter Thefts Reported In Bucktown, Logan Square
Nearly a dozen Toyota and Honda vehicles have been targeted over the past month, police warned.

CHICAGO — Catalytic converters were stolen from 11 vehicles between March 21 and April 5, police said in a community alert. Toyota and Honda vehicles were targeted in the Bucktown and Logan Square neighborhoods, police said.
When a catalytic converter is removed, a vehicle will make a roaring sound that gets louder as you push the gas pedal.

- in the 1800 block of North Richmond on April 5 at 8 a.m.
- in the 1600 block of North Winchester between April 4 at 11:30 a.m. and April 5 at 7:30 a.m.
- in the 2600 block of North Richmond on April 4 at 2:25 p.m.
- in the 1600 block of North Claremont on April 2 at 9 p.m.
- in the 2600 block of West Logan between April 1 at 7 p.m. and April 3 at 8:15 a.m.
- in the 2100 block of West Charleston between April 2 at 12 a.m. and April 3 at 9:30 a.m.
- in the 2600 block of North Washtenaw between April 2 at 5 p.m. and April 3 at 8:40 a.m.
- in the 2800 block of North Troy on April 3 at 8:30 a.m.
- in the 2200 block of North Talman between April 2 at 8 p.m. and April 3 at 7:30 a.m.
- in the 1600 block of North Claremont on April 3 at 7:35 a.m.
- in the 2100 block of North Whipple between Mar 21 at 12 p.m. and Mar 31 at 10 p.m.
