Chicago Fire Films at Burke's Web Pub on Webster (PHOTOS)
Is Chicago Fire switching from Lottie's to Burke's Web Pub? Cast members were caught filming there Tuesday.
It looks like NBC may be shaking this up on Chicago Fire—at least when it comes to where cast members are snagging a few cold beers.
Crews rigged up Burke’s Web Pub at 2026 W. Webster Ave. in Bucktown Tuesday, swaying from the show’s usual go-to neighborhood bar, Lottie’s Pub.
The shots at Web Pub seemed to only take place indoors Tuesday, compared to more action-packed scenes with pyrotechnics involved. Chicago Fire staff set up black sheets outside the pub, as well as may have been a lighting structure on the building’s west wall.
Residents were notified Monday that the city of Chicago issued street parking permits for filming in Bucktown and Lincoln Park. Parking was stripped from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on parts of Webster, Damen and Seeley avenues.
Those at the Chicago Film Office did not immediately return phone calls seeking information on what the filming is for, but those on the cast of Chicago Fire are no strangers to the area.
Last October, a Bollywood film crew came to the neighborhood and in April, ABC's show "Doubt" filmed in nearby Roscoe Village.
