Chicago’s First ‘Pour Your Own Beer’ Bar Coming to Wicker Park

Tapster could open early next year on North Avenue.

Chicago, IL - Tapster, Chicago’s first “pour your own beer” bar, is slated to open in Wicker Park next year, according to news from the Chicago Eater.

The place will have options for up to 50 taps on a “Tapwall,” where customers will pour their own brew at 2027 W. North Ave. Once open, Tapster will be the first business to open at the site since an Interior Define furniture store closed down.

The business will also have actual bartenders, who will serve cocktails and shots. There will also be wine offerings.
