Chop Shop, 1st Ward Officially Open on Friday
A butcher, deli counter, restaurant space and event venue is opening this weekend in Wicker Park.
All parts of the multifaceted Chop Shop and 1st Ward will be in full swing this weekend.
The butcher shop and deli counter has been operating under a soft opening, but the entire establishment will be ready for patrons Friday, Eater reports.
Owner Nick Moretti took an old auto body shop at 2033 W. North Ave. and nearly doubled its size. The 15,000 square-foot space includes a butcher shop, counter and dining upstairs and downstairs.

It also has an event space knowns as 1st Ward and upstairs patio.
