Dave Grohl and Nirvana Crew Hit Piece Pizzeria in Wicker Park
The Foo Fighters lead joined his band mates from Nirvana for a slice at Piece Tuesday night, stepping out for a photo in front of the Wicker Park restaurant.

The band mates from Nirvana—naturally without Kurt Cobain—were joined by musician Pat Smear, Steve Albini and Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen Tuesday night at Piece Pizzeria & Brewery.
The reasoning behind the meet-up is unclear. The Huffington Post Chicago notes Grohl has been touring with Rolling Stones on their tour that recently left Chicago. It’s also noted that this is the 20th anniversary of the release of the band’s album “In Utero,” produced by Albini.
