Fashion Designer Opens New Boutique With Multi-Fit Approach
Contemporary women's' clothing was welcomed to the area with a champagne party Saturday.
A former designer for Betsey Johnson chose the Wicker Park area for her first boutique.
Anastasia Chatzka designs contemporary womenswear that's "classic with an edge." After starting in a River West office, she's decided to expand.
A 1,000 square foot building at 1001 N. Damen Ave. will serve as a boutique and workshop for the designer. Called "Anastasia," it sits just south of the Wicker Park border.

At the shop, Chatzka will offer a special service, the "One-Fit Custom." Every season, select garments from her selection will be available in all sizes, from zero to 16.
"This allows Anastasia to fine-tune the fit in collaboration with the client without the high-cost and time of constructing a custom garment from scratch," according to the designer's website.

Chatzka started the store Saturday night with a grand opening party where guests were able to sip champagne while mingling with the designer and members of the fashion media.
