Guns, Ammunition Stolen From Cars In Wicker Park
The robbers are assumed to be armed and dangerous, police said in a community alert.
CHICAGO — Thieves broke into two vehicles earlier this week in the city's Wicker Park neighborhood and stole guns and ammunition from inside, police warned in a 14th District community alert. The guns were stolen from the vehicles during the evening and overnight hours, police said.
Both guns and ammunition were legally owned, according to the alert.

- in the 1300 block of N. Ashland on Sunday, Dec. 16 at around midnight
- in the 1900 block of W. Crystal on Monday, Dec. 17 at around 7:30 p.m.
No descriptions of the suspects are available, however they are "assumed to be armed and dangerous," police warned.
