High Noon Saloon Closes In Wicker Park
The Wild West-themed bar on Milwaukee has shut its doors.

CHICAGO — Another bar owner is closing a mainstay on Chicago's North Side — after seven years in Wicker Park, High Noon Saloon has closed its doors. The bar, at 1560 N. Milwaukee Avenue, was known for its Wild West decor and Mexican dishes.
Formerly People Tapas Lounge, High Noon Saloon opened its doors in 2013.
In a Facebook post Tuesday evening, High Noon's owner thanked patrons.

"Thank you for 7 great years," the post read.
No reason was offered for the closure; however according to a report by Eater Chicago, owner Baris Yuksel said it's "time for retirement."
