HOLY TRINITY HIGH SCHOOL HIRES NEW PRINCIPAL

Holy Trinity High School is excited to announce the hiring of Marianne Lynch as the 21st principal in the 104-year history of Holy Trinity. Mrs. Lynch comes to Holy Trinity from  Seton Academy in South Holland, Ill., where she has served as principal since 2009. She comes to Holy Trinity with  over 30 years of experience in Catholic schools in Chicago.

Holy Trinity conducted a national search conducted by Carney, Sandoe and Associates, with candidates from 15 states. Laura Clark, Chair of the Principal Search Committee and incoming Chair of the Holy Trinity Board of Trustees, explained that Holy Trinity leadership believed it was important to explore talent outside the Chicagoland area in order to find the best academic leader for Holy Trinity. “We were looking for an experienced leader who could continue to execute Holy Trinity’s strategic plan and enhance academic offerings for students,” she explained. “We believe Mrs. Lynch’s experience make her the right person to advance Holy Trinity, continuing us on the path of academic excellence.”

As principal of Seton Academy, Mrs. Lynch oversaw the school’s transition to a 1:1 technology program and developed partnerships with Purdue University Calumet and Loyola University Chicago. Under her guidance, Seton Academy expanded its honors and AP course offerings and increased its average ACT score by three points through ACT prep-integrated curriculum mapping.

“Mrs. Lynch brings to Holy Trinity a strong leadership presence and the ability to inspire teachers,” Holy Trinity President Timothy Bopp said. “She has a proven history of being a great communicator and of bringing together faculty, parents and students, making her the perfect fit for our close-knit Holy Trinity community.”
