Holy Trinity Students Win 5 World Series Entrepreneurship Awards

The Noble Square students earned $12,750 in prizes.

CHICAGO, IL — Students from Holy Trinity High School took home five of seven World Series of Entrepreneurship awards last week. The event was held in Chicago's Merchandise Mart Thursday. Holy Trinity students earned a total of $12,750 in prizes at the competition.

Holy Trinity student Mason Baker was awarded 1st Place and $10,000 for his business plan, Safe Ride. De’Jah Donahue won 3rd Place and $2,000 for her concept Knowledge is Power. Winning $250 each, Anastasia Adjei, Ashley Walton and Maryfer Palacios were also named excellence award winners.

This is the first year Holy Trinity has participated in the competition. Around 60 students from across Chicagoland entered into the venture pitch competition series, which included networking time with mentors, a presentation board competition and a live pitch competition on the main stage.
