HT Fall Sports: GVB HT defeats Josephinum in league play

HT (overall now 6-6; and 4-2 in the Chicago Prep) returned to winning ways with a 25-22, 25-18 victory over CPC foe Josephinum. HT featured: Alyssa Hernandez (7 kills; two blocks; service points); Jennifer Rios (10 set assist; four service points with three aces); Yadira Santoyo (one block -- her 1st); and Moshay Turner (4 service points, with 4 digs). SERVING: HT: 49 attempts with 48 made for a 98% average with 14 service aces. JOSEPHINUM: 42 attempts with 34 made a 81% average with six aces.

NEXT: @ Prov/St. Mel on Thursday Sept. 26th. -- Jv/V 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. HT Bsoc Wednesday evening, Sept. 25th in a crucial conference game @ Cristo Rey to be played at Harrison Pk starting at 6 p.m.
