HT spring roundup for 04/07/17:

HT BVB:

HT topped UNO SOCCER Academy by scores of 25-15, 25-20 to improve to 3-1 on the season.
The Tigers featured: Demetrius Reeves (9 kills); Andres Saucedo (eight service points, 4 big digs); and Jonathan Vega (21 set assists). Teammates Alex Munox (9 kills); Million Abay (9 kills) and Christian Flores (four kills, 6 service points) rounded out the team effort.
HT SERVING: 49 attempts; 41 made for an 84% average.

GSB @ Guerin: HT 12, Guerin Prep 8. The Tigers were led by the strong pitching of Evelyn Padilla (4 ip, 2 so 2 w), while Cecily Gasidlo contributed two RBI sacrifice flys and Janae Landecho and Silvia Lepe added 2 big hits each.

HT's patience at the plate paid dividends as they coaxed 12 walks. Gaby Del Raso was stellar on defense for the Tigers late in the game.

Landecho and Lepe played through pain getting hit by a back-swing and a ball thrown down to third, respectively.

In the end the Tigers prevailed in this first contest of the season played on the road. NEXT: vs. Francis Parker (tba).
