The Lady Tigers were led by Evelyn Padilla, who held the Cougars to one unearned run. The Tiger offense saw Janae Landecho record a two-run RBI double and Gaby Del Raso a two-run RBI single (her first varsity hit), A 5-run HT outburst in the top of the 5th helped seal the win in 5 innings.
