HT Winter Sports wrap: girls win 2nd in a row; boys fall by 2
HT gbk: Lady Tigers 46, Lake View 31; HT bbk: @ NRP: Sullivan 58, HT 56.
HT Gbk: The host Tigers won their second straight, in their own Thanksgiving tourney Tuesday evening, as they defeated visiting Lake View 46-31. (see the overall box score above).
The score was tied after one quarter of play as each team struggled to get much offense going early on and by the end of the initial 8 minutes, both teams were tied at 6-all.
HT then took a five-point lead to halftime as Anaya Davison and Alyssa Hernandez each scored 2 baskets each and Shay Hicks added one.

The visiting Wildcats saw Sophia Wright add a trey to close the first 16 minutes with HT in the lead 16-10.
Coming out of the break, HT out scored their opponent 30 to 20 in the second half, gaining 20 points in the last stanza to put this one in the win column.

HT's Alyssa Hernandez led all scorers with 17 points while teammates Jaylassa Diaz and Anna Davison contributed 10 and 8 points resepctively.
Lake View featured Joslin Herrera and Sophia Wright who each had 11 points on the night.
NEXT UP: A 2 p.m. contest for the host Tigers versus UIC Prep to conclude this four-team tournament.

HT Boys basketball @ the Northridge Prep tourney:
HT (0-2); In a tough battle, Holy Trinity lost 58-56 to the Sullivan Tigers, in a second-round action at the Battle at The Ridge tournament played at Niles, Northridge Prep.
The visiting Tigers led the entire game until the last minute of the 4th quarter.
Featured for HT were junior, small forward Dorien Little who led the way and all scorers with 21 points and 8 rebounds while teammates junior shooting guard Jabril Muhammad added 15 points and senior point guard Jalen Gomez added 8.
NEXT: A Wednesday afternoon match-up between the Tigers and Wheeling high set to tip off at 4 p.m. Dorian Little has compiled 55 points and 22 rebounds thru the first 2 games on the season.
