Humboldt Park Man Charged With Homicide In Fatal Car Crash
Police said the vehicle the man was driving crashed into another car, killing a woman and her passenger.

CHICAGO — A Humboldt Park man has been charged with homicide after a crash earlier this month left two people dead, Oak Park police said.
Kendall R. Harrison, 25, was charged with one count of reckless homicide and two counts of aggravated driving under the influence, police said.
Harrison's SUV was stopped by an officer on South Boulevard near Humphrey Avenue in Oak Park just before 10:30 p.m. on March 9, police said. As the officer walked up to the vehicle, Harrison sped westbound and ran a red light, police said.

He then crashed into a westbound sedan, according to police. Harrison then jumped out of the SUV and tried to run away, police said, but was caught and taken into custody.
The Oak Park Fire Department took the sedan's driver, a 28-year-old woman, and her passenger to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where the driver died. The passenger suffered multiple fractures and was in critical condition, and died March 17, the Chicago Tribune reported.
