CHICAGO — Fans of lingonberry jam, Swedish meatballs and Allen keys can visit the "The Ikea Inspiration Experience" pop-up that opened Thursday morning in Bucktown. Located at 1714 N. Damen Avenue, the pop-up will run until Sunday, Aug. 26.
The Swedish chain launched the pop-up in celebration of its 75th anniversary and latest catalog. People are invited to hang out in four rooms inspired by the catalog.
“In our 2019 catalog, we are thrilled to introduce a multitude of exciting new products that stay true to our heritage, providing form and function that’s both easy on our wallets and our planet,” Ikea Marketing Manager Shideh Hashemi said in a media release.
