Jerry's Sandwiches to Close in Wicker Park

Specials on food and drink will be available until shop on Division Street closes later this month.

CHICAGO, IL - Jerry’s will close its sandwich shop in Wicker Park later this month.

The final day for the spot at 1938 W. Division St. will be Saturday, Sept. 24, according to a Chicago Tribune report. The business’ locations in Andersonville and Lincoln Square will remain open.

Specials and discounts will be offered on food and beverages until the Division Street location closes, Owner/founder Mark Bires told the Tribune.

The Wicker Park shop was actually intended to replace the one that opened on Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Square earlier this year.

But it proved difficult to sell the space on Division Street and the Lincoln Square location opened before the one in Wicker Park could close.
