Josephinum Academy Hosts Annual Reception For Donors!
Patti Tuomey, Ed. D, President of Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart (The Jo) welcomed over 70 guests at the annual Reception for Donors
Patti Tuomey, Ed. D, President of Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart (The Jo) welcomed over 70 guests at the annual Reception for Donors hosted at the beautiful Westmoreland Country Club in Wilmette on July 26th.
Recent graduates spoke to the crowd of donors and supporters explaining how The Jo has impacted their lives in the past four years. "I was so shy when I started at The Jo. I joined groups and I found out new things about myself like my love of public speaking. My goal is to be a local politician. I'm headed to DePauw University soon and I'm thankful for the tools The Jo has given me. I'm grateful for all of you!" said Mariah De La Fuente, Class of 2017.
Imani Wagner, Class of 2018 shared that, "The Jo is where I learned who I am and who I want to be as a woman in America. I love that I felt comfortable and found my passions. Everyone cares here and there is a sisterhood. I am sad to go but happy for the last four years at The Jo."

In closing, Tuomey spoke about the fact that we are "only as good as our net, and we are blessed to have a great net!"
