Keep NOSHing: Wicker Park Outdoor Market Open Through October

The new Wicker Park artisan market says says just because Labor Day has passed doesn't mean the festivities have ended.

The summer may have ended with the passing of Labor Day Weekend, but The NOSH at Wicker Park is going strong through the end of October.

The artisan farmers market runs every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the A.N. Pritzker School playground on the corner of Damen and Evergreen avenues.

The folks behind The NOSH say they're still encouraging foodies to hit up the event, and even have a surprise list of vendors for when fall is in full swing. Those should be revealed next week.

"During the autumn months we're thrilled to be featuring freshly sliced pastrami sandwiches from Chicago Height's Bergstein's NY Deli, twice-cooked fried chicken from Ravenswood's Pecking Order, sophisticated and locally sourced vegetarian dishes from beKnown Co. and rotating menu items from Wicker Park's brand new Starland," representatives said in a statement.

Featuring more than 20 artisan food vendors, The NOSH has both pre-prepared dishes and locally packaged goods. Some of the vendors include:
