Logan Square Movie Theater Puts Trump and Clinton on the Big Screen

Regal Cinemas will show the 3rd and final presidential debate Wednesday at select locations.

CHICAGO, IL — This year's presidential debates — and the election, in general — have played like a wild Hollywood movie. Except less believable.

Now, you'll get the chance to see if that comparison holds up by watching the third and final debate between candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump on the big screen. Regal Cinemas will be showing the event Wednesday, Oct. 19, at movie theaters across the nation, including locations in Logan Square and Lincoln Park.

Regal City North Stadium 14 IMAX & RPX, 2600 N. Western Ave., will screen the debate at 8 p.m., according to a release from the theater chain. Tickets for the free showing only can be picked up at the box office. Regal Cinemas will offer a free small drink with the purchase of a popcorn for viewers.

Regal Webster Place 11, 1471 W. Webster Ave., also will be showing the debate.

But in case the debate is too heavy and you're looking for lighter viewing fare, you can check out a 40th anniversary screening of "Taxi Driver," which also is running at those theaters that day.
