Massage Spa to Fill Old Rockstar Hair Boutique on North
The storefront is being constructed now at the former salon, but the owner says it'll be a transformation.
A new massage spa will soon be open on North Avenue, with the owner saying she’s preparing to transform the vacant storefront.
Sitting at 1625 W. North Ave., the space was once home to Rockstar Hair Boutique. The salon closed in 2012 roughly a year after opening.
Owner Liya Tao said the space is being prepared for a transformation, and according to city permits, the estimated cost of construction is $30,000. However, a language barrier prevented any further communication.
