Police Looking for Bank Robbery Suspect in Bucktown

Officials have a description of a man they believe robbed the Cole Taylor Bank Tuesday.

Police are looking for a man they say robbed a bank in Bucktown early Tuesday morning. 

Around 10:15 a.m., a robber came into the Cole Taylor Bank at 1965 N. Milwaukee Ave. and handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect implied he had a weapon, according to the Chicago Police Department Office of News Affairs. 

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled north on foot.

The robber is described as a 35 to 40-year-old black man between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-10 with short hair. Police say he was wearing a brown and beige-striped shirt.
