Police will be looking for impaired drivers and vehicle violations in the Bucktown, Wicker Park and Logan Square neighborhoods Saturday.

CHICAGO, IL — Police will be looking for drunken drivers and vehicle violations in the 14th District this weekend. The patrol will start Saturday, March 30, at 7 p.m., and end at 3 a.m. Sunday. The Chicago Police Department does not release the locations of its patrols.
In addition to monitoring traffic for signs of impaired driving, officers will also be on the lookout for safety belt violations and speeding. Police cars will be equipped for speed detection to catch violators.
During roadside safety checks, officers slow down traffic, stop cars at regular intervals and watch for drivers who show signs of alcohol impairment and other violations.
