Pop-Up Bar For Dog Lovers Opens In Logan Square
The dog-friendly bar will be open Tuesday through Sunday until Sept. 16.

CHICAGO — A pop-up bar for dogs and dog lovers opened Friday evening in the Logan Square neighborhood. One Tail at a Time dog rescue has teamed up with Emporium Popups to open The Dog's Day at 2367 N. Milwaukee Ave.
The pop-up's opening night featured celebrity Instagram dogs Splinter the Ninja Dog and Truman the Giant. There was also giveaways and fun activities, organizers said. There was no fee to attend the party.
Then on Sunday, the bar will host a dog-friendly party from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with off-leash play, paw print art, ice cream and raffles. Tickets are $15. Funds raised will benefit the One Tail at a Time center in Bucktown.

The bar is sponsored by Few Spirits, Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co., New Belgium Brewing and Fetch Pet Care.
Until Sept. 16, The Dog's Day pop-up will be open Tuesday to Friday from 5 p.m to 2 a.m.; Saturday from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m. and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. The bar is closed Mondays.

All dogs must be fully vaccinated before coming to the bar, organizers said.
