Rescue Puppy Looking For A Home In Time For The Holidays

Looking for a new family member? This pup is up for adoption through a no-kill shelter in the Bucktown neighborhood.

CHICAGO — A 5-month-old, 25-pound puppy is up for adoption through the One Tail at a Time Dog Rescue center. Bonnie, a mixed-breed pup, is currently living in a foster home, but she's looking for a forever home. Bonnie's "cuddly and sweet" and loves being a sous chef, center staff said.

"If you're looking for a company while you cook, this is your girl! She loves hanging in the kitchen with you and is very motivated for treats," center staff wrote on her profile. "She has already picked up on many commands and knows sit, and lay down and is currently perfecting a spin!"

Bonnie is now spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350, and all puppies under six months of age are required to undergo positive reinforcement training at the cost of the adopter.
