'Seinfeld' Day At Scofflaw In Logan Square? Get Out!
Fans of the show will be able to order special menu items tied to the series for one day next month at the cocktail lounge.

CHICAGO, IL — Given that it shares its name with an episode from the series, it was only a matter of time since Scofflaw opened in 2012 that the Northwest Side cocktail lounge would mine that connection to "Seinfeld." In June, the Logan Square bar will be hosting a day that's themed around the seminal 1990s sitcom, Time Out Chicago reports.
So what will Scofflaw's "Seinfeld" day look like when it happens June 4? Thankfully, the lounge didn't go the obvious route and make the theme about nothing. Instead, Scofflaw will offer a menu with a few "Seinfeld" items, according to Time Out.

Here's what customers will be able to order at the establishment that day and how it connects to the show:
Muffin Tops, Elaine's idea that the top of the muffin is the best part of the pastry (or is it a bread?). The secret, however, is that you have to bake the whole muffin and pull the top off the stumps. What Scofflaw plans to do with those muffin remains, though, is not known. Hopefully, they won't be sitting on a mountain of stumps at the end of the day.

Big Salads, another Elaine-inspired food item. Just don't accept a thank you under false pretenses if you're not the one who orded the salad for another person.
Black and White Cookies, the treat through which Jerry views race relations: "Two races of flavor living side by side in harmony. It's a wonderful thing, isn't it?" Apparently, not wonderful enough, though, to allow the series to have people of color in prominent roles that didn't play on stereotypes. If the show would have only "looked to the cookie!"
The "Seinfeld"-themed day at Scofflaw, 3201 W. Armitage Ave., is only for one day and will be from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday, June 4. Go to the bar's website and Facebook page for more information.
