Sponsored Adoption Fee For Rescue Dog In Bucktown

Looking for a new family member? This pup is up for adoption through a no-kill shelter in Bucktown, and his adoption fee has been waived.

CHICAGO — A one-and-a-half-year old, 41-pound mixed breed dog is up for adoption through the One Tail at a Time Dog Rescue center in Bucktown. Toby is currently living in a foster home, but he's looking for a forever home. His adoption fee has been sponsored.

"Be sure to claim your space on the on bed or couch because if you don't Toby will take the whole thing!" staff posted on his profile page. "He loves to play with pretty much any toy and is super smart — he is great at puzzle toys, kong wobblers and anything that makes his brain work for his reward."

Toby is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested and microchipped. His new family won't have to pay an adoption fee and he comes with a lifetime of free training for the right home through the center's Good Dog, Forever Dog program.
