Target To Open New Store In Logan Square
A new small format Target is scheduled to open in 2020 at the southwest corner of N. Milwaukee Ave. and N. Sacramento Ave.

CHICAGO, IL — Target announced that a new small-format store is set to open in Logan Square in 2020. The store, at 2434 N. Sacramento Avenue, will be Target’s 10th small-format store in Chicagoland, the company said. Target said it's opening more small-format stores to serve new shoppers in areas where traditional-sized Target stores may not fit – such as dense suburban neighborhoods, urban areas and on college campuses.
The company said the new 27,400-square-foot Logan Square store will offer shoppers a "robust" grocery selection, home essentials, an assortment of baby and kids apparel and toys, a selection of apartment decor and school and office supplies. The company said the new location will also offer a CVS and Target.com Order Pickup counter, where shoppers can pick up goods they order online.
“We welcome the Target store and new jobs to the Logan Square community. Target has been a long-time sponsor of neighborhood activities, and we are happy to have Target continue as a partner of community building efforts in the neighborhood,” said Ald. Scott Waguespack (32nd) in a news release.
