CHICAGO, IL - Chicago’s first Aesop store opened earlier this month in Bucktown.
Norman Kelly, a Chicago and New York based architect firm, recently finished the store at 1653 N. Damen Ave., according to a report from The Arrchitects Newspaper. They used 10,000 reclaimed Chicago bricks to build it.
The bricks selected were ones that closely resembled other prominent buildings in historic Bucktown.
Aesop is an Australian skincare company. They often enlist noted architect firms to design and build their high-end stores around the globe.
