Truck Drives Through Building On NW Side
A driver crashed into Discount Auto Warehouse and came out the other side, police said.
CHICAGO — A truck crashed through a building in the city's Kilbourn Park neighborhood early Wednesday morning. Police were called to the scene in the 4200 block of West Belmont Avenue just before 6 a.m.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 36-year-old man, said his vision became blurry, police said. His truck crashed into the Discount Auto Warehouse and went out the other side.
The man was not injured, police said.

A homeless man saw the crash and went into the building to help, according to ABC Chicago. While he was inside, a brick fell and hit him on the head. He was taken to Community First Hospital, where he is listed in good condition, ABC reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
